Hi, I'm Luke Desroches, and I'm a web developer & designer based in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. You can check out some of my work below, or » learn more about me. Enjoy!

BIG Pink Sightseeing

The BIG Pink Sightseeing tour is a promotion in support of The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Ambassatours asked me to create a website in time for the international launch that would inform visitors of the promotion. The project was quick, and the end result was excellent.

Whoisfreddy? Site

Whoisfreddy.ca is a skateboarding blog run by a group of skaters in and around Fredericton, NB. They were looking for an entirely new look and setup, one that was clean, a bit edgy and easy to use. Both the guys and myself couldn't have been happier with how the site turned out.

Hein Financial Site

Hein Financial was looking for an updated look for their site. Their old look was not consistent with their new branding, nor did it reflect their values. The new design did both, and they were thrilled.

Estabrooks Site

Richard Estabrooks is a freelance photographer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and he wanted a site that would focus on his work. I chose the slideshow background to display his work prominently, and with the power of JavaScript, created a "Flash-like" site that he can manage on his own.

Stripe'd WordPress Theme

Stripe'd is a free WordPress theme I designed and developed. My goal was to break away from the usual basic colour scheme, centred container blog theme and explore different colours and a fluid layout. The final product really pops and is perfect for the blogger that wants to stand out from the rest.

ReEnjoy Logo

ReEnjoy is a hot tub provider in Calgary, Alberta. They wanted a logo that would give off a fun vibe, and would reflect a feeling of "enjoyment". With some cool colours, a bold typeface and some simple illustration, the logo communicates ReEnjoy's message simply and effectively.

Nannerland Logo

Nancy Desrosiers is a photographer & artist out of Montreal, Quebec. For her logo she wanted something elegant, but with a gritty, rock and roll edge. The typeface used achieves both these, and the grungy red star adds that little bit of colour to make the logo pop.

The FM Filter Logo

The FM Filter is a new online music magazine with contributors across Canada. The goal was to create a colourful logo that emphasized "music". The end result is impactful and memorable.
